Beginning of the year first lab lesson Hyperdoc
These are just suggested activities that will introduce your class to the computer lab. It may take up to 4 class periods to complete. Taking the time now to learn and practice these basic computer skills will allow students to produce more digital content that supports your curriculum throughout the year. *NOTE*- Clicking on the image will force a copy. If your students have never logged into Google to accept their terms, it will force them to login. First, go to Launchpad and open the green Google Folder. Then click on Drive and click on the blue accept button. They will now be logged into Google. Come back to this page and open the lesson. It will then allow you to make a copy of the lesson.
International Dot Day HyperDoc
September 15th marks the anniversary of the publication of best-selling author/illustrator Peter H. Reynolds’ The Dot, a “story book for all ages.” Starting in 2009, a group of educators began celebrating this date as International Dot Day — a day for classes to explore the story’s powerful themes: bravery, creativity, and self-expression.
